Octaves
The new world is already here.
That is one of the many thoughts and ideas that swirled and flowed as I lounged in my cleansing eclipse bath. I need to train myself to record these stream-of-consciousness moments because I can only remember a little of what came through. The words written are mine and reflect my current personal interpretation and understanding of the shifting energies affecting the planet, specifically as they relate to the evolution of human consciousness.
I've written to express myself, and I enjoy sharing those thoughts here. I don't need anyone to agree, and I don't care if anyone disagrees. Every path is unique, and an individual’s reality will load in accordance with a lot of factors unique to the individual.
The new world is already here, alongside the old one that is collapsing and moving toward reforming. The boundary between the two, using a term from music, is a difference in octaves. The old world is a set of octaves. The new world is a set of higher octaves. Higher does not mean superior. Higher does not imply hierarchy. If you understand the concept of multidimensionality and how dimensions are not places, and not bound by linear time, you’ll get how both the old world and new world can exist simultaneously on this planet.
The new world has a distinctive background frequency, and the background frequency of the new world does not support the old world. This lack of support isn’t adversarial. The new world is a leveling up to another octave of experience. An expansion or evolution of consciousness brings in more points of awareness, which aligns you with the higher octave of frequencies.
For those who read about, study, and/or practice Human Design, the old world background frequency (octave) is the cross of planning. The new world background frequency (octave) is the cross of sleeping phoenix. The energy patterns and compositions of the two octaves are very distinct from one another. I study Human Design from an observer perspective – I listen to those who are well-researched and practiced in HD who can explain the concepts in digestible bites – but I don’t practice it myself as astrology is more my esoteric symbolic language of proficiency.
The signal of the old background frequency is wobbling and fading in and out because of the split that’s going on. Humanity stands at a significant crossroads, and all humans will make a decisive, monumental pivot within the next few years. Some have already made that pivot.
Those of us who pivot to the higher octave will still witness and have access to the old world octave. A “between two worlds,” in a liminal space sort of experience. This concept, for me, is currently too convoluted to articulate. There’s such a chaotic and strange bifurcation going on with humanity, and standing with one foot in the old world, while also more strongly aligning with the new world is a bizarre and demanding balancing act.
The old world, with all its parameters, constructs, joys, and horrors will persist for those that choose (because it is a choice, either an unconscious one or a conscious one) to stay aligned within that octave. This choice isn’t good or bad, it’s just a choice. One’s soul might wish to continue along the more familiar, well-traveled if challenging road.
The new world is already anchored in, but none of the blueprints, plans, narratives, stories, scripts, histories, metaphoric comparisons, parameters, or templates of the old world can be brought along or superimposed because that will immediately yank you back into the lower octave. From what I understand, this shouldn’t be perceived as a punishment; it’s merely a frequency boundary.
One’s life and path in the new world are completely unwritten. A create-your-own-adventure without using any examples of previous adventures as a map. In fact, there is no map, only mysterious terrain yet to be discovered and experienced. The unknown, amplified.
Is this amplified unknown terrifying or exciting? Both? I’m ok with it being both.
Think about how fan fiction works. People take characters they love from stories, series, or films and place them in alternative contexts to have experiences, going wild with creative abandon and cross-pollinating by inserting them into other story arcs and relationships, adding characteristics and qualities that weren’t part of the original character or storylines. That character was a seed of inspiration. The seed is planted in the new world. What grows from that seed is unknown. No pattern is already mapped. Expect the unexpected is the mantra.
For the person who chooses to align with the new octave of frequencies, an unscripted world of possibility and potential await. Like a blank canvas or a blank page, you will create your reality, yes, but you don’t get to have a hard outline in mind, and you don’t get to define any of the finer details. (When I complain about this, my spirit team says: “Sorry not sorry.” Cute.)
In the new world octave, spontaneity is key, fueled by and through the energy of inspiration. Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
Some arduous challenges await too. For example, applying metaphoric comparisons, like from beloved literature or movies, to describe what is going on in the world today is helpful. For understanding and navigating the old world, that is. None of those metaphoric comparisons have anything to do with the new world and none of them will play there. This is a rough one because I love using metaphoric comparisons as a guide, especially if I pull them from favorite books and movies, but to continue in this vein is to remain entangled on the lower octave. You don’t need to abandon the joy and inspiration those books or films brought you, only the prescribed templates of the stories.
For example: How you felt when you first discovered that book or watched that film, and why it inspired you, is more important than the contents or narrative themes and arcs of that book or film.
Ideas I’ve read or heard from others over the years that are apparently foundational to the new world are: 1) limitation is an oracle; 2) an obstacle is an invitation; and 3) what you wish to experience or feel in the new world is a navigation tool, but you don’t get to suggest how that experience should arrive or what it looks like. (For a long-term planner and a “likes to be in some kind of control” person like me, this is almost trauma-inducing.) (Spirit team: “Sorry not sorry.”)
Various cycle models, all of them (political, economic, historic, war-based, even astrological), can be useful as predictive guidance to understand and proceed regarding current events, but those models also belong to the old world. All those models fall apart in the new world because they come with preexisting patterns, templates, stories, and narratives.
And as far as astrology goes, the current astrological cycles and transits manifest expression of their principles, interactions, and energetic compositions in possibly unfamiliar ways in the new world because it’s a different octave of manifestation.
How does the expression and manifestation of current astro transits, aspects, and configuration show up in the new world octave? As an astrologer, I can say, I have no fucking idea. I’m going to guess it’s another form of polarity play that isn’t diluted by the stale concepts of scientific materialism or constrained by the cross of planning background frequency.
Ugh, this piece is doing a lot of delineating, defining, and describing, which contradicts how the octave of the new world operates (as I’m beginning to understand and experience it). This is causing a weird, unsettling and paradoxical dynamic inside of me that I’m pretty sure is providing my spirit team with a lot of amusement. Yeah, I know, sorry not sorry. Happy Equinox and Happy Eclipse, everyone.
