Planetary Hours
There are free apps for your phone you can download and use to track which planets rule which hours of the day/evening. This is, of course, great for syncing your big magic or small magic using basic astrological timing. If you want to download/use one of these apps, make sure you adjust the settings. In my personally most-used app, the default setting is for the planetary hour to be announced via voice as opposed to a quiet sound notification and glyph appearing on the home screen.
Imagine, if you will, riding in an Uber at 2:30 a.m. after a fun night out. It’s silent in the Uber, and you can’t wait to get home, wash off your mascara, and go to bed. All of a sudden, a computerized voice breaks into the silence and announces, authoritatively, from your phone, “It’s Jupiter hour!”
While quite amusing in retrospect, do you really want to have that explanatory discussion with your Uber driver at that moment? No, you do not.
Always check the settings on any apps you download.
